week 15 || 2016: vibes yo

silo

I could be having the worst [or best] of days, but all it takes is a few choice words to challenge my perspective or really make me think. Oftentimes, that is what Lalah Delia does for my thought process. I started following her ig posts last year and fell in with her abundance of  love and truth and positivity. She is so connected, within and “outside” of herself, that she emits nothing but good. Yes, even through the glass screen of my smartphone, I feel it. She is speaking directly to me, and so often I say to myself I really needed to hear that. I mean who doesn’t appreciate a nugget of wisdom in their timeline?

She can get a bit heavy sometimes, but that weight hits you for a reason. That resonation is that light bulb turning on to help guide you in making the best moves/changes for YOU.

When you realize your body is a temple and an energy magnet, everything changes. You no longer allow random, toxic, careless energy to feed or affect yours.

SO many people are looking outside themselves for happiness. For validation. For love. When all along, no matter how tainted or weak you think you are, everything you need lies within. And you can never better yourself or truly help another without understanding and exercising this self-care.

If it no longer resonates with my heart, spirit, mind and soul, I let it go.

Spring, the new year, is clearly a time of transition and growth. We see it in the increasing hours of daylight, rising temperatures, budding flowers and lush greens. And we can see it within ourselves if we are open + ready. Just like spring, we can plant new seeds and blossom a better being, creating better energy with a more positive outlook and higher self-awareness..

Whether or not you’re in a funk, need some guidance or just a word of encouragement from an unbiased stranger, Lalah’s motivational posts will uplift and help you to vibrate higher. Daily.

    This post is on time. I struggle but made the decision yesterday to stick to my affirmations and meditation. Life is better when I do. And, I literally experience abundance.

      Right on! I love to hear that. When you change your thoughts, you really do change your life.

    I have been in SUCH a funk and I needed this!!!! Thank you for sharing. Sometimes while feeding people positivity, you forget that you are human and when that feeling of sadness comes over you, you feel as if you let others down. NO – I am human and I need the same reminders that I dish out lol. Thank you!

      Exactly! Too often we don’t heed the advice we give others.

      And you are so welcome!

    Reblogged this on mind JO business and commented:
    Support “REBLOG” Sunday Ep10: I have been in SUCH a funk this past week and I really needed this! Sometimes, while feeding people positivity, you tend to forget that you too are human. Feeling of sadness or anger can catch you by surprise and you find yourself feeling as if you’ve let others down – or that you’ve digressed. But NO, that is not the case – I am human, a work in progress and I need the same reminders that I dish out to my readers and friends.
